Through what we create, we invite people to see strangers differently, to move closer instead of away, and to build a culture where everyone belongs. Oh and for those who believes that a border decides someone's worth. FUCK YOU.
FOW : Family Over Worries is a reminder to choose what truly matters. The people who support us, inspire us, and walk with us are worth more than the worries we carry. Stitched into our pieces, it reflects the heart of FOREIGNERS.
No. This is bigger than where you were born. Wearing FOREIGNERS means you believe we are all human, whichever side of a border we come from. Warning: compliments may occur :)
Our symbol is the swift a bird that spends its life in flight and crosses borders without ever asking permission. Wherever it lands, it is home. Nobody asks the swift where it's really from.
On every piece sold, half of the profits go to organizations that support people who just arrived: language classes, paperwork, housing, a first job, and projects that keep their cultures alive. Partner organizations are announced with every drop and chosen with the community.
After every drop, we publish the amount donated down to the cent along with the name of the partner organization. No fine print, no vague percentages.
